We finished the day at Rock Church at another worship / teaching night. Thursday at Tidal Impact is always my absolute favorite night. On Thursdays we sing, we learn, and then as teams we participate in communion together. We brought glow sticks for fun - also helpful when looking for our team in the crowd!

Tonight as we drove home, one of the boys staying at the same house as me was lamenting that TI wasn't two weeks long! The connections, the ministry, the opportunities, the stretching - God is having an impact on us as ell as on those we are serving!
Read MoreFor the afternoon we went again to Rock Church, but this time for Dive Deeper. The Tidal Impact organizing team arranged to have a wide selection of workshops for the youth to attend where they learned about and practiced spiritual disciplines. This was stretching for many of the youth - most good things are.
Read MoreMonday morning we began our morning ministries for the week. After morning prayer, some of our combined team headed off to the the Basketball Camp we are running this week. With Minister JB as head coach, this was a great success! Others from our team stayed at EBC for Adventure Camp.
Read MoreAs you may know, this week is Tidal Impact week! We have a team of 11 youth and 3 leaders participating alongside hundreds of youth and leaders form around the Maritimes. The way that Tidal Impact works is fairly simple - churches in two local areas [in 2017 they are Halifax and South Shore / Bridgewater] host churches from elsewhere. Together local and visiting church youth groups form one team and serve God in the community of the local church. For 2017 are NMBC youth & leaders are partnered with Emmanuel Baptist in Hammonds Plains.

Read MoreOn Friday we had a fantastic day. We finished up our morning ministries, serving at Harvest House, and Vacation Bible Camp. We also had some team members visiting at Golden Years, a seniors residence. While there one of the activities they did with the seniors was Wii Bowling! Our fourth team cleaned up our host church after our long week and then bought popsicles and water bottles and handed them out for free at both Centennial Park and on Main Street at a street festival.
Read MoreOn Thursday morning some of our team attended chapel at Harvest House and then cleaned and organized there. Others served by doing a prayer walk in neighbourhood called West Lane, others went to the food bank and helped sort the food that we collected the night before. We also had students at the regional food depot and at the Vacation Bible Camp we've been helping to lead.

Each morning as we pray and then head out to serve our team leaves with excitement (despite being tired) about what God is doing!
Read MoreTuesday was one of our busiest ministry days at Tidal Impact. Our students were serving God in the community this morning & afternoon and then worshipping Him & learning this evening.
This morning our teams picked up garbage at a local playground; led s worship service at s senior's home; led at a Vacation Bible School; and more!
This afternoon some of our team partnered with the Moncton Salvation Army Family Services Center to prepare supplies that are given to 50 children who are going to camp (campers are given pillows, sleeping bags, towels, clothes, all toiletries), others went to a local skate park to pass out water and clean garbage while building relationships (and skateboarding!) and others partnered with New Life Mission and spent time with young children in a part!
In the evening we attended our second worship rally with the Informants and Ben Woodman at Moncton Wesleyan. It was an incredible and moving night!
Keep praying for us! Wednesday we add the food bank garden to our morning ministries, we attend discipleship groups (Dive Deeper) in the afternoon and we take part in Moncton's largest food drive of the year at night!
Monday was our first day when all of our morning ministries were happening at the same time. We had students at Harvest House, at a food bank, at the food depot (which provides food for the food banks), and leading a Vacation Bible School at a smaller church. Together our team is around 40 members from 3 churches.
Read MoreThe weather was beautiful, and Tidal Impact got off to a great start! Our team, combined between all three churches, served at Journey Church on Sunday morning. After church and lunch we spent several hours in smaller groups preparing for the week of ministry ahead. In the evening, after a wonderful turkey dinner, we traveled to Moncton Wesleyan Church for the first of the evening worship services that are a part of #ti2015

Every two years churches converge in two locations and make an impact in those areas by loving God and loving others.
