The Lead Pastor Search Committee is pleased to present the proposed job description for our next Lead Pastor to the church for approval. A Church Business Meeting will be held THIS Sunday, July 12, following the morning worship service, for the purpose of voting on the proposed job description. All are welcome to attend and speak to the matter; however, only members are eligible to vote.

Starting in July, the church office will be Closed on Fridays, but will remain open from Monday to Thursday in the mornings from 9am-12pm.  If you have any questions please reach out to Jennifer at office@nmbc.ca

Motorcycle Group Weekly Ride - Join in for a weekly ride every Wednesday evening throughout the summer. We meet in the church parking lot at 6:00pm for a 6:30 start. Our NURSERY [ages 0-2] is available and staffed with caring volunteers during our service each Sunday. Our SPROUTS [ages 2-5] and The ORCHARD [grades P-5] programs are available during our Sunday morning services each week. All children begin the main worship service with their families and are dismissed to NMBC Kids a few minutes in, where their parents register them in the cafe.

This Summer at New Minas Baptist Church, we are excited about all the opportunities we have to serve God by loving kids and pointing them to Jesus! capacitytoy donationsage-appropriateWe have 3 weeks of Sports Camps, 1 Drama Camp, our annual Vacation Bible Camp, and our regular Nursery [age 0-2], Sprouts [age 2-5], and Orchard [grades P-5] on Sunday mornings! We need many volunteers to make all of these exciting programs work! We need 4-6 adults and 4-6 teenagers to volunteer each Sunday. At each sports/drama camp, we need 6-8 teenage volunteers. At VBC, we need many volunteers!

Our children's ministries are looking for Donations of Toys! We want to increase our capactiy to play with more kids as we grow! We are looking for age aprorpriate toys for our Nursery, Sprouts, and Orchard ministries. Sports Camps for kids - July 6-10, 13-17, and August 17-21. Each week, kids in grades 1-5 attending our Sports Camps will enjoy exciting competitions, fun fitness activities, and amazing games! Our annual Vacation Bible Camp, July 27-30, will be our largest event for kids all year! Last year, over 200 children joined us for four fantastic mornings! Our Vacation Bible Camp is a FREE event for kids from 9am – 1230pm, Monday to Thursday, July 27-20, 2026!  VBC will be at New Minas Baptist Church. Solid Rock Youth Wednesdays! All youth in grades 6-12 are invited to New Minas Baptist Church every Wednesday night for prayer, games, worship, preaching, small groups, and after-hours activities! Wednesdays are the Best Night of the Week!

Summer Solid Rock Youth is slower-paced, relaxed, acoustic, and fun! Some weeks we'll be off-site at homes and pools, maybe sometimes in a park. Pay attention to each week's email so you know where we are and what we're up to. For the first two weeks, we'll be at New Minas Baptist Church.

This summer, learn to LEAD! Join us at CAMP LEAD YOUTH on August 3-7! Space is limited! Registration opens in June. CAMP LEAD is an all-day camp for children & youth in grades 6-8 [2025-26 school year] focused on Christian leadership training. At CAMP LEAD YOUTH, we will learn from real-life examples of Christian leadership by visiting several Christian organizations that are making a difference in our world!

We will learn about leadership from the Bible as we study various leaders through whom God did incredible things! We will grow as leaders as we learn about our SHAPE to see how God created us to be unique! Also, we've added a few EXTRA fun events during the week!

YOUNG ADULTS - We have a growing community of young adults at NMBC! Join us every Monday night at 7 pmfor Worship, Small Groups and more! 

Need a Ride to Church? If you're a student at Acadia or NSCC and you need a ride to church, reach out, and we'll get you there. 

Young Adults on Mondays doesn’t stop for summer! Most weeks we are at New Minas Baptist Church starting at 7 pm. Some weeks we have fun events off-site. This summer we are looking at the Life of David in the Old Testament in our small groups. To keep up with our weekly schedule, you’ll want to be added to our Facebook Messenger Group. SEND-A-KID to CAMP FUND is our sponsorship fund at NMBC to provide bursary support to families of kids & youth who want to attend Christian camps in the summer. For many families, camp is expensive, and we want to offer support so that more children and youth can encounter Jesus and have life-changing camp experiences! The priority in dispersing funds will be children or youth wanting to attend Kingswood Camp. CHALLENGE is an incredible youth conference at New Minas Baptist Church, held every year at the end of October. Every year, hundreds of youth and leaders join us for two incredible days where God changes lives! 

Men's Basketball at NSCC Kingstec Campus, Fridays 6:00 pm to 7:45pm.  Open to guys who are looking for some exercise and fellowship.  We have a word of prayer, and lots of running up and down the courts.  Come for a great time of pickup basketball games.  Indoor sneakers only, and bring your own water bottle.  For more information, connect with Pascal Lahoud.

Spirit-filled prayer time - Join with NMBC brothers and sisters every Wednesday at 7:30PM on Zoom to praise and thank the Lord and ask His blessing and protection of our church and its leaders. These 40-minute sessions are informal and open to everyone and include prayers that worship the Lord, are based in His word, foster communion with the Lord, focus on the Lord's will and power our witness to others.
