WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY: Join us TONIGHT for week 8 in our study “Dwell on These Things” at 7:00pm in the multipurpose room.
As we prepare for Easter and contemplate the Person and Work of Christ in the sermon series, God moves in our hearts in new ways as we allow the message and the story to meet us in our distinct place in time. We encourage you to take time to creatively reflect through art and if you feel called to share, we are preparing an art corner to collect everyone’s expressions (painting, sculpture, knitting, sewing, woodwork, poetry, etc.). Please connect with Avery Peters (avery.peters@gmail.com) when you are ready and we will put together a name and information card to go with the piece you share. Please share your contributions by April 18.

On Saturday April 26th and June 14th from 12-5, in the church coffee lounge, set aside some time to spend in intentional creative work. This is not an event, it is an opportunity to set aside a good part of a day to study and create in the company of likeminded others. Bring your bible, painting, your knitting, your journal, your writing project, a book you are studying, or anything that can be done quietly in a common space. Come with a willingness to be unproductive: we will not all be famous artists or writers, and all work toward the good, beautiful, and true is valuable.
Bring a packed lunch and we will start with lunch together, have a time of prayer and a short reflection before beginning into our work, and then we will end with prayer. Make sure to plan ahead so you can join us for the whole time. Light snacks will be provided as well as coffee and tea to enjoy while you work. Contact Avery Peters with any questions or for further information: avery.peters@gmail.com
