We are excited about our 2026 NMBC Summer Camps for Kids! During July and August, we have exciting camp opportunities for kids! All of our Summer Camps for Kids will offer fun experiences, dynamic Bible-based devotions, and prayer times!

  • SPORTS CAMP ONE: July 6-10, daily from 900am - 1230pm.

    • Campers must be in grades 1-5 [2025-26 School Year]

    • Cost for this week is $40 / camper.

    • Location is New Minas Baptist Church

    • Space is limited to 25 campers.

  • SPORTS CAMP TWO: July 13-17, daily from 900am - 1230pm.

  • VACATION BIBLE CAMP: July 27-30, daily from 900am - 1230pm.

SPORTS CAMPS DETAILS

  • Each week, our Sports Camps feature exciting competitions, fun fitness activities, and amazing games! Every camper will have fun while being encouraged to grow physically, socially, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

  • Times: 900am - 1230pm daily

  • Location: Sports Camps will be held at New Minas Baptist Church.

  • Ages: Children in grades 1-5 [2025-26 school year, meaning they were born in 2015-2020].

  • What to Bring: Come dressed in clothes suited for indoor sports. Bring indoor gym shoes, a water bottle and snacks. We’ll have apples to share with everyone each day.

DRAMA CAMP DETAILS

  • Our Drama Camp will feature interactive, drama-based games and an end-of-week presentation by the children for their parents!

  • Times: 900am - 1230pm daily

  • Location: New Minas Baptist Church

  • Ages: Children in grades 1-5 [2025-26 school year, meaning they were born in 2015-2020].

  • What to Bring: Come dressed in comfortable clothing, with the understanding that some days we may be painting drama sets. Bring indoor gym shoes, a water bottle and snacks. We’ll have apples to share with everyone each day.

VACATION BIBLE CAMP DETAILS

  • Our Vacation Bible Camp is a FREE event for kids from 9am – 1230pm, Monday to Thursday, July 27-20, 2026!  VBC will be at New Minas Baptist Church.

  • Does my child need to have any experience for sports camps?

    • These camps are for both experienced and inexperienced players. It is perfect for children who have never played sports and will challenge experienced players to improve their skills while having tons of fun.  

  • What sports will you be playing at sports camp?

    • Each day will be a different sport! We will feature sports such as floor hockey, soccer, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, and football.

  • Does my child need prior experience for the drama camp?

    • This camp is for both experienced and inexperienced children. We will play drama games and work together on props, sets, and a Bible-based drama experience.

  • How do I register my child?

  • What is the cost for these camps?

    • Sports & Drama Camps are $40 per child per camp.

    • Vacation Bible Camp is FREE!

  • Is there a discount for multiple children from the same family or for children attending multiple camps during the summer?

    • No, there is not. We set camp costs based on the expenses to run them. If you need financial support, bursary funds are available. See below.

  • Are bursaries available?

    • Yes. We have some bursary support available. Email Pastor Jon at jon.dixon@nmbc.ca or call 902-681-7683 for details, or choose that payment option on the registration form, and we will touch base with you soon.

  • Will my child be going outside and therefore need sunscreen?

    • When the weather is nice but not overly hot, we may go outside for our Bible story and small group times, which may last 20-30 minutes mid-morning.

  • What if it rains on a camp day?

    • Camp will run rain or shine.
