2.What stands out to you most in this passage? Why?
3. How does Paul view his imprisonment, and why is that surprising? (vv.12–13)
Digging Deeper
4. What does this passage teach us about how God can work through difficult or limiting circumstances? Paul says others became more bold because of his situation (v.14).
5. Why do you think someone’s faith in hardship can encourage others?
6. How does Paul respond to people preaching Christ with wrong motives—and what does that reveal about his priorities? (vv.15–18)
