Every year, one thing that stands out about Challenge weekend is our church family's incredible dedication to investing in the younger generations. This has always been one of the identifying features of our church, and both as a parent and a pastor, I am so thankful! Watching you serve in huge ways, behind-the-scenes ways, and everything in between is simply beautiful. As you serve God by giving your time and energy (and lack of sleep!) before and during Challenge weekend (and in so many ways all year!), you bring glory to God, and you point youth toward Jesus.
This weekend I was struck by how we are part of something so much bigger than us. Spending time with Pastor Shane, hearing stories from Fredericton, talking with leaders from churches across our province, and being caught off guard by how many other similar youth conferences were held across the country this past weekend … God sees, hears, and is calling this generation to himself in an amazing way! I am so thankful to be part of a church that sees the incredible importance of investing in next generations and creating spaces where they will have an encounter with God. Praying prayers of thanksgiving for all that God has done! ~ Pastor Jon

After the service, we will serve refreshments. We are pleased to have Rev. Dr. Melody Maxwell as our guest speaker. Melody serves as Professor in the Hannah Maria Norris Chair of World Christian History and Women in Ministry at Acadia Divinity College. We look forward to having you join us in prayer and add your voice to over 100 countries seeking to be difference makers in the world.
