CHALLENGE is an incredible youth conference at New Minas Baptist Church, held annually in late October. Hundreds of youth and leaders join us every year for two incredible days in which God changes lives! CHALLENGE 2026 will be October 23-24.
Challenge Registration Info: CHALLENGE 2025 was full, and we had an overflow list. Because of that, we decided to limit Challenge 2026 to Grades 7-12 and no longer include Grade 6 youth.
To make as much space as possible available for both Solid Rock Youth and other churches, we are holding space for Solid Rock Youth until October 7. After that date, if we have not received your registration and payment, you may not be able to attend Challenge.
Challenge Registration is now open for Solid Rock Youth. Register here: https://nmbc.ccbchurch.com/goto/forms/584/responses/new
We can't wait for what God will do in the lives of hundreds of youth & leaders at Challenge! Watch for an email with all the event details a week before the event.
Each year at Challenge, we welcome hundreds of youth & leaders! To handle the logistics for an event this size and serve food to a crowd this size, it takes an army of volunteers and lots of donations!
Volunteers:
We need volunteers in many different roles all day on Friday and Saturday.
We need volunteers for food prep, in the kitchen, serving food, outside for traffic control, and inside and outside as Shepherds.
You can signup to volunteer at Challenge here: https://nmbc.ccbchurch.com/goto/forms/585/responses/new
Food and Donations
We need lots of food for hungry Challenge youth and leaders!
You can visit the Challenge desk in the lobby on Sundays, or contact us to make a donation at challenge@nmbc.ca
The easiest way to help is to make a financial donation for Challenge food by sending money either via eTransfer to finance@nmbc.ca [add comment Challenge Food] or online at https://www.nmbc.ca/giving [choose Challenge as the giving type]
One of the things that makes Challenge unique is Love Out Loud! On Saturday afternoon, we'll head out into the community to serve! Love Out Loud means living our faith in Jesus by serving others. In the past, we've partnered with organizations making a difference in our community, visited senior homes, picked apples, raked leaves, and done random acts of kindness! Love Out Loud is one of the highlights of Challenge every year!
Signup for Help with Yard Work and Raking Leaves:
If you or someone you know could use our help with raking leaves, wedding gardens, washing outside windows, or other general yard work, please let us know! We'd love to send you a vehicle of youth and leaders to come serve.
To sign up for help, email challenge@nmbc.ca or call our church office at 902-691-7683.
