Warm-up. What three things would you most like to accomplish before summer?
Read Matthew 28:1-10 Ask God to bless your study.
1. What is the logical problem with the claim that truth is based on preference or opinion?
2. According to 1 Corinthians 15:12-19, how vital is belief in the resurrection of Jesus? Explain the contention that the Christian faith stands or falls based on Christ's resurrection.
3. How does the resurrection confirm Jesus' lordship/kingship?
4. Read Romans 6:1-8 and discuss how important our spiritual union is with Jesus Christ.
5. Read Isaiah 52:13-14; 53:4-5 and discuss what we, as the Bride of Christ, and Jesus, as the Groom, contribute to the relationship of our holy union with him. How does John 14:19 and 2 Corinthians 5:21 speak to the reality of this truth?
6. How does the description of our marital union with God according to the words of Isaiah 62:3-5 make you feel?
7. According to Romans 10:9-13 how important is a personal belief in the resurrection of Jesus Christ? Is this true of you?
