THIS SUNDAY - Join us this Sunday for our Palm Sunday Worship Services at 915am & 1100am. Together we will celebrate Jesus Christ our King with a dramatic presentation of the Triumphal entry of Jesus and message Deity on a Donkey with key passage Matthew 21:1-11 by Pastor Daniel Cormier.
HOLY WEEK SERVICES - Our theme this year is “Greater Love: the unbelievable story of our rescue”! We will experience dramatic presentations at each service beginning with the triumphal entry of Jesus on Palm Sunday, a re-enactment of The Via Dolorosa on Good Friday and scenes from the Resurrection on Easter Sunday as well as a special song by the A-MEN choir! Please plan to attend each service and be sure to invite family and friends - to come with you.
NEW SERMON BASED SMALL GROUP SERIES (APRIL 8-MAY 6) - After his resurrection at Easter, just before his ascension, Jesus said to his disciples - "you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." [Acts 1:8] Starting on April 8, Pastor Daniel will lead our church through a five weeks series on the person, presence and power of the Holy Spirit. We are looking forward to all that God has in store for us as we learn together!

SEND A KID TO CAMP FUND is our sponsorship fund at NMBC to provide bursary support to kids & youth who want to attend Christian camps. For many families, camp is expensive, and we want to offer support so that more children and youth can encounter Jesus and have life changing camp experiences! All money in the fund will go to applicants who need support to pay for camp registrations. First priority in dispersing funds will go to children or youth wanting to attend Kingswood Camp. NEW MINISTRY - NMBC is launching a new outreach program to older people in our congregation. This is primarily a calling and connecting ministry under the Visitation and Care Ministry to keep in contact with seniors and those who are more isolated and alone. If you get a call, please understand that this is a new ministry that is just beginning to reach out to those who would like regular contact. You're invited to InterVarsity's MARKeast! - A week-long inductive scripture study of the book of Mark; you'll track with Jesus and his disciples for the week as you discover, are challenged and renewed. For first time, InterVarsity is also offering miniMARKeast. While it's not a substitute for MARKeast, it will give you a taste of what it's all about! Includes: 3.5 sessions of scripture study and the service project included: setting up the classrooms and praying through the camp on Sunday afternoon to prepare it for the students. ASSOCIATION AND LAY LICENSE TO MINISTER - The Eastern Valley Baptist Association is conducting interviews for persons who are seeking to obtain or renew an “Association License to Minister” or a “Lay License to Minister. Interviews will happen at the Salsman Room at Acadia Divinity College on April 10th, 2018 from 9:00am to 4:45pm. There is a sign-up sheet upstairs at the Divinity College for candidates to designate their time. They must also make application by using the Registration Form which is on the Eastern Valley Baptist Association website.
