Come and experience a Night in Bethlehem at New Minas Baptist Church. At our Live Nativity you can make a Food Bank donation that will get you past Roman soldiers and tax collectors. Meet villagers, shepherds, and inn keepers who will direct you to the angelic choir. Capture the wonder of Mary, Joseph, and the real star of Christmas, baby Jesus.

Friday & Saturday Nights [December 1 & 2] will be a Drive-Thru experience from 630-800pm.

Sunday night [December 3] will be and be an interactive Walk-Thru, mini musical and carol sing from 600-730pm.

THIS SATURDAY - 1st SATURDAY MEN’S FELLOWSHIP - Our monthly men’s fellowship event will be held this Saturday, Dec 2 at 8am. Our special speaker will be Kim Thomson, who will address the 5-W's (who, what, where, when, why) and how of his "Faith" walk in Christ.  We will gather in the Multipurpose Room.  Following his message, we will meet, greet, and eat at the Lion’s Club Breakfast next door at the Louis Millett Complex.

THIS SUNDAY - Join us at 9:15 and 11am for Sunday Worship as Pastor Sterling brings the first message in our Advent Series: "Home for Christmas Part 1:  Good Food - Jesus the Bread of Life, John 6:27-36.

CHRISTMAS IN THE ORCHARD [DEC 10 @ 6:30pm] You are invited to celebrate Christmas with the children of Sprouts and the Orchard! Join us at 630pm as we present God’s One Big Story.

A FRIENDS IN RETIREMENT CHRISTMAS [Dec 14 @ 2pm] You are invited to come out on Thursday, December 14 at 2pm in the cafe for a special time of singing Christmas Carols and music with Kay Wheaton while enjoying some Christmas Cookies and drinks.  Why not invite a friend?

CHRISTMAS UNDER THE STARS CAFE [Dec 17 @ 6:30pm] Join us for a fun evening of festive music, sweet treats, & warm drinks! SPECIAL CHRISTMAS OFFERING - Our special offering this Christmas season will go toward the purchase of an onsite defibrillator.  All funds received over the amount needed for the defibrillator will be used to off set the cost of our annual Live Nativity.  Please use your regular offering envelope (available under sanctuary chairs) and indicate “Other:  Christmas Offering”.  Thank you!

NOTICE of CHURCH LICENSE to MINISTER candidate, Lori Noseworthy, is studying at Acadia Divinity College and is on her journey toward ordination.

INN FROM THE COLD - The new season of Inn From the Cold began November 6.  NMBC will be supplying emergency shelter (in partnership with Open Arms and local policing services) on Monday nights during our colder months.  You can support this ministry by:
    •    donating $5.00 tim cards that will provide our guests a hot breakfast;
    •    signing up to provide a hot meal and/or snacks for guests
    •    or by becoming an evening or overnight host for guests.

FILL THE PILL FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN - Thank you so much for participating in the Hadassa House “Fill the Pill” fundraiser. They are now being collected by Hadassa House volunteers at the Connection Centre.
