YOU ARE INVITED to an Evening of Appreciation on Sunday, June 9th at 6:30pm to acknowledge Pastor Sterling's upcoming retirement. We will provide special cake and beverages along with opportunities for us all to share stories and extend appreciation. It will be an elegant evening (dress up) in celebration of an honourable and godly pastor. 

MINISTRY PHOTOS & BOOK OF CELEBRATION - Please send us any pictures you may have of Pastor Sterling's ministry and your stories of appreciation regarding his ministry to you over the years. We will print them to be included in a book of celebration. (office@nmbc.ca). Thank you!


STEPS is a gospel-centered recovery ministry that takes people to the root of sin and suffering and leads them to embrace the freedom found only in Christ's redemption. This is an in-depth 13-session discipleship tool featuring weekly teaching videos, small group time, one on one mentoring, and daily journalling. It begins Tuesday, June 11 at 6:30pm here at NMBC. CELEBRATION SUNDAY & SUMMER SERVICES - On Sunday, June 23 we will transition to our summer service schedule with one service at 10am. That morning we will also focus on celebrating what God has been doing in and through our many ministries. Stay tuned for more details!

PHOTOS FOR OUR MINISTRY CELEBRATION! We are looking for photos from all NMBC ministries over the 2018-19 ministry year. We intend to create a video slideshow of all ages and stages, groups and ministries for our June 23 Ministry Celebration service! NS PADDLERS FISHING DERBY (GIDEONS) Saturday, June 15th at Gaspereau Lake. The cost is $30 and it begins here at the church with a 7:00am registration. It is a family friendly tournament with loads of amazing prizes. Official tournament fishing hours are 7:00-3:00pm with the fish-photo registration from 3:00-4:00pm. More info at nbpaddlers.com.

SONLIGHT  CONCERT – You are invited to a GOSPEL CONCERT featuring SONLIGHT to be held at New Minas Baptist Church on June 16th at 6:30pm. Free will offering. All are welcome.

NEW ELECTIVE: 7-week (April 28-June 9) study of the Apostle Paul a RightNow Media Study with Danny Zacharias.

Room: B6 @ 11am

Apart from Jesus, no one has had a greater influence in Christianity than the apostle Paul. This elective will view a short clip from RightNow Media each week and proceed with a discussion and Bible study. Join Danny Zacharias for a 7-week study on Paul's remarkable life and his voyages from Jerusalem across the Mediterranean world to Rome, where he was ultimately martyred. April 28 – June 9 during the first service in B6.

CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP - Caregivers Nova Scotia in partnership with NMBC invite you to attend a free support group which offers a confidential, friendly atmosphere for you to discuss your experiences, and receive helpful information in a supportive environment for those who give unpaid care to parents, spouses, children, a friend or relative. The group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month from 2-7pm at the external building (formerly the youth centre) here at NMBC.
