SPRINGTIME ALPHA COMING TO NMBC - The Alpha Film Series and Youth Alpha Film Series will run Tuesday evenings (6:30-9:00) from March 26 to June 4. You or your entire small group can help make this a success by signing up to pray for Alpha, help with meal preparation/ serving, joining a set-up or clean-up crew, with music, or by becoming a hosts or helper. SNOW BOWL - SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 3 - Join us for a fun flag football game! We will meet at Credit Union Rec Complex in Kentville (formerly the Soccer Dome) at 3:45pm for flag football from 4-5pm. AL IKARI FAMILY - You can help the Al Ikari family settle into Canada by donating your gently used clothing or household items at Consignor’s Place (77 Crescent Drive) in New Minas, under the account “New Minas Baptist Church”. SEND-A-KID to CAMP FUND is our sponsorship fund at NMBC to provide bursary support to kids & youth who want to attend Christian camps. For many families, camp is expensive, and we want to offer support so that more children and youth can encounter Jesus and have life changing camp experiences! All money in the fund will go to applicants who need support to pay for camp registrations. First priority in dispersing funds will go to children or youth wanting to attend Kingswood Camp. CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP - Caregivers Nova Scotia in partnership with NMBC invite you to attend a free support group which offers a confidential, friendly atmosphere for you to discuss your experiences, and receive helpful information in a supportive environment for those who give unpaid care to parents, spouses, children, a friend or relative. The group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month from 2-7pm at the external building (formerly the youth centre) here at NMBC.
