Protection Policy

Our world is becoming increasingly less safe for our children and youth. As you read, watch and listen to the news each day there are more and more stories which could cause concern for the families we serve. We have been blessed in our church history to have provided a safe environment for our children and youth. We intend to continue in that pattern by doing everything possible to know our volunteers and to be able to present a fully screened volunteer staff to families and to our community. We want you to know that we go to great lengths to provide safety for their children and youth. As a part of our protection policy we screen our volunteers by means of an internal volunteer application form, an interview and reference check, the provincial child abuse registry, and police checks.
