Laurel Jamieson [Ministry Assistant]

Laurel joined the staff in 2008 as Ministry Assistant, a new position created to assist the pastoral staff in the development and smooth functioning of diverse ministries. Laurel has been attending NMBC for 23 years since moving to Kentville with her husband Andrew, a research scientist with Agriculture Canada. They have five amazing daughters, three great sons-in-law and, recently, one beautiful granddaughter. Laurel grew up in the Fredericton area of New Brunswick and is a graduate of the Secretarial course at Atlantic Baptist College ('77) and since that time has worked in several positions, most recently in an orthodontist's office. In her off time Laurel enjoys baking, or relaxing with a good mystery novel.
