Dr. Robert Knowles

Senior Pastor

Pastor Bob was born in Sussex, NB. He is a third generation Baptist Pastor in the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches and is deeply committed to the spread of the gospel locally and globally. Pastor Bob joined the staff of New Minas Baptist Church in July 2003 after an eleven year ministry in Moncton, NB. He is a graduate of Atlantic Baptist University, Acadia Divinity College, Providence Theological Seminary, Arrow Leadership Program, and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. In 2009 Pastor Bob became the President of the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches.

He is married to Crystal and they have 4 delightful children: Micah, Rachel, Bethany and Luke. He is committed to leading a team approach to fulfill a God ordained vision for this church. When not fishing for men, Bob likes to fish for fish.
